Revenge porn and women, new frontiers of gender violence.
The problem is always the same, the question is always the same, is the woman a victim or guilt? Did the woman look for it or is she naive?
Man is the executioner or simply the cog in a perverse game. In Italy, a teacher from Turin was fired because of the material relating to her sexual and therefore private life, was put on the net and reached the prying eyes of the school principal.
The question arises and the red code in Italy, established in 2019 and which also provides for a crime more commonly defined as Revenge Porn, literally pornographic revenge, seems not to have changed the vision, or culture that orbits this type of problem.
A new criminal offense has also been introduced in Wales and England to counter Revenge Porn as part of the Criminal Justice and Courts Bill, but the problem is not legal.
The problem is of gender, it concerns the woman in its broadest sense, but it also concerns the man, with a capital and small m.
It is a question of understanding which observation perspective to take. As always, it is a cultural problem.

Today the last frontier or evolution of this crime consists of manipulated videos in which the heads of the unfortunates are superimposed with specially created apps, videos in which life and sex are colored with hot colors.
A dimension that the legislator had not foreseen and that escapes the penalty. Everything must adapt to the hectic times of a digital society, even the law. The sick alchemy of a society that bases everything on images, always sees the same ingredients in the cauldron: sex and hard videos in which the woman is experienced as an object.
Whether it is an ex-boyfriend, a harassing stalker or a hacker, we must work to ensure that there are no more Tiziana Cantone, so that revenge porn and violence in all its forms become only and exclusively grounds for condemnation of the executioner and of human understanding of the victim.
